Doxylamin, Pyridoxin, Folic Acid Tablets

Doxikrit Tablets contain three salt compositions i.e. Doxylamin 20mg, Pyridoxin 20mg and Folic Acid 5 mg.

Doxylamine comes in antihistamine drug class, and is used to treat the symptoms of allergy, hay fever, and the common cold. The tablet helps in stopping the transferring of certain natural substances (histamine, acetylcholine) that the body makes.

Pyridoxine, also known as vitamin B6 tablets, is used to fulfill the requirement of extra energy in the body that food is not providing enough, to produce red blood cells, and for the effective functioning of nerves.

Folic acid is the man-made version of the vitamin B9 which helps in the proper development of the unborn baby’s brain, skull and spinal cord.

Together these three medicines are used in the treatment of nausea or vomiting a woman faces during her pregnancy. The tablets help in blocking the signals to reach the brain that trigger the feeling of discomfort.
